What happens during your assessment

Your MOHR Hair Assessment

One appointment that replaces a decade of guessing.

Your visit

Meet with your provider

Review your history, goals, previous treatments, relevant concerns, and what you want to accomplish. One-on-one, in a private room at 910 Park Avenue.

Measure your hair

HairMetrix scalp imaging adds objective measurements to the evaluation. You watch it on the screen with your provider; nothing is injected and nothing is removed.

Build your plan

Review the findings with your provider and understand which options may make sense for you. Baseline photographs are taken so future evaluations can be compared with your own starting point.

AI-powered scalp imaging

See what a mirror
can't measure.

HairMetrix adds objective measurements to what can otherwise be a largely visual assessment.

Thinning often begins as individual hairs becoming finer, before there appears to be less hair: the kind of change magnified measurement is designed to pick up.

Illustrative diagram. Your own imaging is captured and reviewed with you at your appointment.

What the imaging can help quantify

  • Hair density. Objective measurements of hair in the evaluated area.
  • Hair thickness. Measurements related to hair-shaft caliber.
  • Hair characteristics. Including terminal-to-vellus measurements and other quantitative information.
  • Your baseline. Measurable information that can be compared with future evaluations when appropriate.

HairMetrix is an imaging and measurement system. It describes the current state of your hair and scalp; it is not a treatment and does not by itself change any outcome.

Who you'll see

Clinical care.
Focused on hair.

Your assessment is performed in person, one-on-one, by a licensed provider under medical oversight. Hair restoration is the whole of what MOHR does, for men and women alike.

Performs your assessment

Your licensed MOHR provider

Reviews your history and goals, performs the HairMetrix imaging with you, and builds your plan from what the evaluation shows.

Medical oversight

Dr. Alexander Golberg

Provides the medical oversight the practice operates under. Candidacy, your history and anything that rules treatment in or out are clinical decisions made under that oversight.

Where

910 Park Avenue, New York

A single Upper East Side address. Every assessment and every treatment is delivered in person there.

Why MOHR

Measured first.
Treated second.

Hair loss isn't one-size-fits-all. Neither should treatment be.

Focused

Hair is the whole practice.

MOHR is built around non-surgical hair restoration and long-term hair management.

Measured

Evidence before recommendations.

Treatment planning begins with imaging, history and clinical evaluation rather than guesswork.

Personalized

Your plan, from your assessment.

Recommendations are based on the individual's assessment rather than a generic online questionnaire.

Before & after

The proof isn't a promise.
It's a photograph.

Each pair below is one person, photographed twice — before the protocol, and after. Your assessment is where that record starts: the same areas, the same angle, measured from the first visit.

Before Crown before the protocol: scalp visible through thin hair across the whole crown.
After The same crown after the protocol: dense hair covering the scalp.
Crown · overall density

Scalp reading through the whole crown — then coverage closing over the same field.

Before Vertex before the protocol: a bare patch of scalp at the whorl.
After The same vertex after the protocol: the bare patch grown over with hair.
Vertex · the whorl

A bare patch at the whorl, grown over in the same colour and calibre.

Before Crown and temple before the protocol: thin, see-through coverage with scalp showing.
After The same crown and temple after the protocol: fuller coverage, scalp no longer showing through.
Crown & temple · see-through scalp

See-through coverage over the temple — after, the scalp stops showing through.

Before Crown before the protocol: a widening bare area at the vertex.
After The same crown after the protocol: the bare area filled in with hair.
Vertex · thinning crown

A widening bare crown, filled back in across the same view.

Before Part line before the protocol: a wide part with scalp clearly visible along it.
After The same part line after the protocol: a narrower part with hair filled in on both sides.
Part line · a widening part

A wide part narrowing as hair returns on both sides of it.

Before Diffuse thinning before the protocol: sparse hair with scalp visible through the part.
After The same area after the protocol: dense hair with the scalp no longer visible.
Diffuse thinning · women

Scalp visible through the part — after, the same area reads dark and dense. Hair loss isn't only a men's condition, and neither is the protocol.

Photographs of real patients, before and after the regenerative protocol. Unretouched — cropped only to frame the treatment area. Lighting and camera angle can differ between visits. Individual results vary, and your assessment determines whether you're a candidate.
