The short answer
- What it is: A complimentary preliminary review from photos you submit at /haircheck.
- What you send: Front/hairline, crown, and the area of concern, plus brief context.
- What it is not: Not a diagnosis, not a medical consultation, not a guarantee of candidacy.
- Next step if appropriate: The $299 Hair Assessment with HairMetrix (fee credited if you proceed).
What HairCheck is
HairCheck is MOHR’s complimentary, photo-based preliminary review to help you decide whether an in-person assessment at 910 Park Avenue may be worth considering.
It exists for people who are not ready to book a paid visit yet. They are often noticing a wider part, more scalp show-through, or shedding that feels new. You complete a short flow on the website, upload three photos, and the team replies.
The three photos
- Front / hairline: face the camera in even light.
- Crown: tip the head so the crown is visible.
- Area of concern: part, temples, or wherever you are noticing change.
Clear focus and natural light help. Filters and heavy styling that hide the scalp make review harder.
What HairCheck is not
Medical honesty
HairCheck is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a promise that you qualify for any procedure. Candidacy is decided in person by a licensed provider under medical oversight.
A legacy SMS path still exists at Photo Pre-Screen for people who prefer to text. New visitors should use HairCheck.
Privacy basics
Photos are submitted for review by the MOHR team. See the Privacy Policy for how information is handled. Do not use HairCheck for emergencies or urgent medical symptoms. Contact appropriate clinical care.
What happens next
If the preliminary review suggests an assessment may help, you can book the $299 MOHR Hair Assessment. That visit includes consultation, HairMetrix scalp imaging, baseline photography, and a candidacy decision. The fee is credited toward the first treatment if you proceed.
