Non-surgical protocol For men & women No downtime Three-treatment course

The moment you noticed

It's rarely dramatic. A photo taken from an angle you didn't choose. The part a little wider under the bathroom light. So you start tilting your head, choosing the seat with your back to the window, skipping the group shot. No one has said a word. But you keep noticing.

That quiet, private noticing is reason enough to look into your options. Not vanity — just wanting to feel like yourself.

There's another way

Surgery isn't the only
answer anymore.

For years the choice was a transplant or acceptance. Regenerative medicine changed that. We can now wake dormant follicles and thicken what's thinning — without a single incision.

The non-surgical protocol is the modern standard. It's precise, it's proven, and it's the whole of what we do.

How it works

Four mechanisms.
One protocol.

Smart medicine, plainly: each does one job, and together they give your follicles the signal, the support, and the energy to grow.

PRF

Your own growth signal

We concentrate the healing factors from your own blood into a serum and return it to your scalp — waking follicles that have gone quiet.

Exosomes

The amplifier

Microscopic messengers that tell follicle cells to regenerate — turning up the volume on everything PRF sets in motion.

LLLT

Light that feeds the root

Gentle low-level laser light raises circulation and cellular energy exactly where hair is made — no heat, no sensation.

Hair-Growth IV

Fuel from within

Our proprietary infusion delivers the nutrients regrowth depends on straight to your bloodstream — supporting the work from the inside.

The science is the proof — not the pitch. The result is you, unbothered, in the next photo.

Before & after

The proof isn't a promise.
It's a photograph.

Each pair below is one person, photographed twice — before the protocol, and after. Read them the way we do: the width of the part, how much skin shows through, the density at the crown.

Before Crown before the protocol: scalp visible through thin hair across the whole crown.
After The same crown after the protocol: dense hair covering the scalp.
Crown · overall density

Scalp reading through the whole crown — then coverage closing over the same field.

Before Vertex before the protocol: a bare patch of scalp at the whorl.
After The same vertex after the protocol: the bare patch grown over with hair.
Vertex · the whorl

A bare patch at the whorl, grown over in the same colour and calibre.

Before Crown and temple before the protocol: thin, see-through coverage with scalp showing.
After The same crown and temple after the protocol: fuller coverage, scalp no longer showing through.
Crown & temple · see-through scalp

See-through coverage over the temple — after, the scalp stops showing through.

Before Crown before the protocol: a widening bare area at the vertex.
After The same crown after the protocol: the bare area filled in with hair.
Vertex · thinning crown

A widening bare crown, filled back in across the same view.

Before Part line before the protocol: a wide part with scalp clearly visible along it.
After The same part line after the protocol: a narrower part with hair filled in on both sides.
Part line · a widening part

A wide part narrowing as hair returns on both sides of it.

Before Diffuse thinning before the protocol: sparse hair with scalp visible through the part.
After The same area after the protocol: dense hair with the scalp no longer visible.
Diffuse thinning · women

Scalp visible through the part — after, the same area reads dark and dense. Hair loss isn't only a men's condition, and neither is the protocol.

Photographs of real patients, before and after the regenerative protocol. Unretouched — cropped only to frame the treatment area. Lighting and camera angle can differ between visits. Individual results vary, and a consultation determines whether you're a candidate.

Why MOHR

Three reasons this is
different from the rest.

Vs. surgery

Regenerative, not surgical

No operating room, no grafts, no scars, no weeks of recovery. Regrowth that lets you return to your life the same afternoon.

Vs. DTC pills

Clinical, not a mailbox

Not a subscription and a shrug. A supervised protocol, measured against your own baseline and adjusted to how you respond.

Vs. generic med-spas

Specialists, not a menu

Hair is the entire focus — not one line item beside facials and fillers. A single thing, done exactingly, every day.

The protocol

Three treatments.
One founding cohort.

Regrowth is a course, not a single visit. The protocol is three treatments, spaced to work with your biology. Choose the depth that fits you.

Nothing to recover from

No scalpel. No scars. No downtime. Just the science, doing its work.

For men and women alike. Early-to-moderate thinning responds best — which is exactly why the quiet noticing you've been doing is worth acting on now, not later.

Questions, answered

The things people ask
before they book.

Plain answers about non-surgical hair restoration — what the treatments are, what they feel like, what they cost, and how to tell whether any of it is right for you.

Answers reflect how MOHR practises. Treatment is delivered in person at 910 Park Avenue, New York, by a licensed nurse practitioner under the medical oversight of Dr. Alexander Golberg. Hair restoration is the whole of what MOHR does. This page is general information, not medical advice.

The treatments

What is non-surgical hair restoration, and how is it different from a hair transplant?

Non-surgical hair restoration treats thinning hair without incisions or grafts. Rather than relocating follicles from one part of the scalp to another the way a hair transplant does, it works by stimulating the follicles you still have — using injections prepared from your own blood, clinical light, and targeted nutrition.

At MOHR the protocol combines PRF, exosome amplification, low-level laser therapy and a hair-growth IV in one course of care. There is no scalpel, no scars and no downtime, so most people return to their day the same afternoon. A transplant moves hair that is already lost; this approach is designed to support the hair you still have.

What is PRF, and how does it help with hair loss?

PRF, or platelet-rich fibrin, is a concentrate prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The sample is spun to separate the platelets, fibrin and growth factors, and that concentrate is then injected into the thinning areas of the scalp.

Growth factors are the body's own repair signals, and in hair treatment they are used to support follicles that have gone dormant or are producing finer, weaker hair. PRF is the foundation of every MOHR protocol and is included at every session. Because PRF comes from your own blood, no donor material is involved.

What are exosomes, and what do they add to the treatment?

Exosomes are microscopic vesicles that cells use to carry signalling molecules to other cells. In MOHR's Signature protocol an exosome preparation is used alongside PRF as an amplifying step — the intent is to add signalling to the treatment rather than to replace what PRF is already doing.

Exosome preparations are not FDA-approved for hair growth, and MOHR does not describe them as a cure. Exosomes are offered only where clinically appropriate and legally permissible, and whether they belong in your plan is a clinical decision made with you at your $299 hair assessment.

What is low-level laser therapy (LLLT) for hair?

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is the use of low-energy red light at specific wavelengths on the scalp, applied to support circulation and cellular energy where hair is made. LLLT is painless, generates no heat you can feel, and is included in every MOHR treatment session.

Light therapy is a supporting mechanism rather than a standalone answer to hair loss. At MOHR it runs alongside PRF at each visit, so the follicle is being signalled and supported in the same appointment.

What's in the MOHR hair-growth IV?

The MOHR hair-growth IV is a proprietary intravenous infusion given as part of treatment, formulated to deliver nutrients that hair growth depends on directly into the bloodstream. Where PRF and laser therapy work at the scalp, the infusion is designed to support the same work from the inside.

Nutritional status is one of several factors that influence how hair grows, which is why the IV is part of the protocol rather than a substitute for it. Your health history is reviewed before any infusion is given.

Safety & comfort

Is non-surgical hair restoration safe?

Non-surgical hair restoration is generally well tolerated, and the core of MOHR's protocol — PRF — is made from your own blood, so no donor material is placed in your scalp. Every treatment is performed in person by a licensed nurse practitioner under the medical oversight of Dr. Alexander Golberg.

As with any injection, temporary tenderness, mild swelling or small bruises at the injection sites are possible. Not everyone is a candidate, and some medical histories rule treatment out — which is why your history and your scalp are reviewed at the $299 hair assessment before anything is recommended.

Does the treatment hurt, and is there any downtime?

No scalpel. No scars. No downtime. Most people describe scalp injections as brief pressure or a series of pinches rather than sharp pain, and your comfort is managed with you through the session.

Mild tenderness across the treated area for a day or so is normal. There is no recovery period to plan around — you return to work and normal life the same day, and aftercare instructions are given at your visit.

Is this for men and women?

MOHR treats hair loss and thinning in both men and women. The protocol is not sex-specific: PRF, laser therapy and the hair-growth IV all act at the follicle, whether the pattern is a receding hairline, a thinning crown or a widening part.

In women, loss more often shows as diffuse thinning or a part that keeps getting wider rather than a bald patch, and it is easy to dismiss for too long. Both patterns are assessed the same way, and you can see both in the before-and-after photographs on this page.

Results & timeline

How many treatments will I need?

Most people need a course of at least three treatments. Follicles respond to repeated stimulation rather than to a single visit, so MOHR treats in a three-treatment course, spaced to work with your hair's own growth cycle.

How many treatments you need — and whether maintenance makes sense afterwards — depends on how much thinning is present and how you respond. Your plan is set at your $299 hair assessment and reviewed against your own progress photographs as you go.

When might I start to see results?

Changes are gradual and usually become noticeable over months rather than weeks, because hair grows on its own cycle. Many people notice reduced shedding first, with any change in density becoming visible later in the course of treatment.

Results vary from person to person, and no outcome can be guaranteed. MOHR photographs the same areas of your scalp at the same angle at every visit, so progress is measured against your own baseline rather than an impression in the mirror.

Who is a good candidate for non-surgical hair restoration?

Early-to-moderate thinning responds best. Non-surgical hair restoration works by stimulating follicles that are still present but miniaturising — producing finer, shorter hairs — which is why acting while there is still hair in the thinning area matters.

Areas that have been completely bare for years have fewer follicles left to stimulate and are less likely to respond. Men and women are both candidates, and candidacy is confirmed in person at your $299 hair assessment.

Cost, candidacy & booking

How much does treatment at MOHR cost?

Treatment at MOHR begins with a $299 hair assessment, which is credited toward your first treatment. The protocol itself is $895 per treatment, or $1,495 per treatment with exosome amplification, taken as a course of at least three treatments.

What you actually need is discussed in person rather than quoted online, because the right plan depends on your pattern of loss. You can compare both protocols above, or see the full breakdown on the pricing page.

What does the $299 hair assessment include?

The $299 MOHR hair assessment is an in-person appointment that establishes your baseline: a clinical consultation, digital scalp analysis, baseline photography, and a personalised protocol recommendation for your pattern of loss. The fee is credited toward your first treatment when you begin a protocol.

The assessment is also where candidacy is decided. You leave with a clear picture of what is happening on your scalp and what is realistic for you, whether or not you choose to go ahead. The assessment page walks through the hour in order.

Where is MOHR located, and how do I book?

MOHR is at 910 Park Avenue in New York, on Manhattan's Upper East Side, and all care is delivered in person there. Hair restoration is the practice's only focus — MOHR does not treat anything else.

To book, choose your time on the online scheduler, where your $299 assessment is booked and paid in one step and your confirmation is emailed to you straight away.
